Louise Lederman
Training and Experience
Louise Lederman is an experienced Integrative Psychotherapeutic
Counsellor. Louise’s warmth and empathic nature provide a safe
non-judgemental space for clients to explore any difficulties they
may be facing, with no pressure to be anything other than
themselves.
Louise holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from London’s Counselling & Psychotherapy Training Academy. She has more recently undertaken training with the world renowned Metanoia Institute in PCE-CfD (Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression) approved by the NHS.
Louise currently works part-time for the national charity Mind, supporting clients with severe mental health problems.

Throughout her working life, Louise has always been passionate about helping others and has predominantly worked within the voluntary and charity sectors. Louise has over 20 years of experience working with adults and young people in various therapeutic contexts. Her work within the charity sector has provided a deep understanding of varying life challenges and she has a wealth of experience working with a wide range of clients and mental health problems. With specialist training in Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, Louise has vast knowledge and experience within the areas of ADHD and Autism, as well as other learning needs and physical disabilities.
Types of Therapy
Louise is a relational therapist and has a core belief in humanistic, person-centred principles. She uses a variety of theory and techniques to enable clients to explore themselves in a way which has meaning for them as individuals. Louise truly believes that even in the most hopeless feeling space, change is possible. Types of therapies offered include: Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, Inner Child work, Mindfulness and Breathwork.
